How can Elizabeth march after the readmission of QUAIA?
She is endorsing a message of hatred and divisiveness
see today’s toronto star
tell her to have a moral compass and show
some leadership
I will quit the party for good if we lend legitimacy
to those who spread hate

Your intense concern and involvement in this issue impress me. You are clear that it has been a very divisive issue in our community. Greens want peace in the Middle East, and many of us are active in striving for it. Greens oppose hate speech, and we all respect, rely on, and use the laws and regulations that stop it. This is not about peace in the Middle East or hate speech. It is about community and accomplishment. Pride is about free speech for all of every persuasion. Pride is about tolerance and listening and respect for diversity. Pride is a celebration of what opposing censorship can achieve.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pride Toronto reminds us all of how far we have come in 3 decades, and how much effort by so many for so long it has taken to achieve the free expression we take such pride in today.
